Longtime Sumner resident Mona Hanford has been Development professional and an eldercare activist. Before that she earned a Masters degree in Russian. Most recently she has been working a book which is out this week. Titled “The Graceful Exit: TenThings You Need to Know” Mona takes on the challenging subject of end-of-life care providing invaluable support and guidance for individuals and their families. Surgeon and former Senator Bill Frist admires her pragmatic approach. In his introduction he cites her for “expertly discussing the ten things you need to know to navigate the inevitable with hope and grace.”
